Privacy Policy

SampleRelay is the data controller for personal data collected through the service and is operated from Belgium. Contact: hello@samplerelay.com. The legal operator is identified at the foot of this page.

Account data (email, password hash), workspace data (brand name, category, contact email), buyer data (store names, contact names, emails, locations, notes you enter), sample send data, feedback responses, anonymised usage events, and billing data (handled by Stripe — we do not store card numbers).

We process data on the basis of contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (product improvement, fraud prevention), and legal obligation. As a user, you are responsible for your own lawful basis for storing buyer contact data.

To provide and improve SampleRelay, authenticate users, process payments via Stripe, and send transactional emails. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

We retain your data while your account is active. After deletion, we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We use Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database/auth), and Stripe (payments). See our Subprocessors page for the current list.

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and adequacy decisions where applicable.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, object to, and restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise any right, contact hello@samplerelay.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA).

We use essential authentication cookies and browser local storage for preferences (language, tutorial state). No third-party tracking or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

We may update this policy and will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.
